Electric Airsoft Guns

Electric Airsoft Guns

Electric airsoft guns are some of the most popular in the market. They are popularly known as AEGs. These guns are powered by an electric motor. They work with rechargeable batteries. They come with a semi-auto or fully automatic setting, which you can switch to with the click of a button. Price usually ranges by maker and the quality of manufacture. You can find cheaper models; however, in these models, you get what you pay for. The more expensive the gun, the better it will shoot and perform.

These are considered non-lethal weapons, designed for game and entertainment and they use soft plastic or rubber BB’s or pellets. There are many clubs and teams, or airsoft associations around the world, dedicated to this type of sport or game. Many of these electric guns can fire up to 100-1500 rounds per minute.

Electric softguns come in many styles. You can find airsoft electric pistols, airsoft electric riffles, electric airsoft machine guns, electric airsoft sniper rifles, and mini electric airsoft guns. A variety exists on the market at prices as low as $50 for a Mini firepower electric AK-47 electric assault rifle, or a mini version of a M16 assault rifle, and even a mini version of the UZI submachine automatic gun.

LPEGs are low powered electric softguns that are much cheaper and are more of a novelty, if you are not heavily involved in the sport. The construction is cheaper and their velocities are much lower. Mini electric softguns are replicas of the larger versions, but have lower ammo capacity and can give about 50-100 rounds; they also have less range. They don’t do well at far ranges, but fine for close range.

After a good game or practice, these guns should be maintained to promote longevity. They should be wiped or cleaned with a soft cloth to remove any oil, dirt, or debris. The inside chamber and barrel should be cleaned with a cotton swab to remove dirt and debris. It is recommended that lubrication is performed every 3,000- 4,000 shots fired. With proper maintenance, these electric airsoft guns will last and continue to perform well.
